Intel Operation Confusion!

There is so much confusion over CIA/Government operations. Operation Mongoose was an operation approved by JFK and supervised by RFK. It was an attempt to disrupt Castro's government. It does not stand for every single operation run against Castro and Cuba. Many authors think it does, and this is an epic fail. This is similar to Operation Mockingbird. Lisa Pease always corrects this, but some researchers think every CIA/Media asset is Operation Mockingbird. That is incorrect. Mockingbird is a specific Operation against specific media targets. It has a start date and an end date. The CIA using the media is Standard Operating Procedure. They have been using media assets since the outset of the agency and still do to this day. Well, same with Mongoose, it has a start date and an end date. Mongoose did NOT include assassinations. The CIA/Mafia plots are NOT Mongoose. They started under President Eisenhower. JFK and RFK NEVER approved of assassinations. It was run out of the JM wave station in Miami, where most other Cuban operations were run, so this adds to the confusion. Mongoose was run by General Ed Lansdale. William Harvey said it was like throwing rocks at Castro and totally ineffective. JFK eventually shut it all down, and toward the end of his life, he was working on back-channel peace negotiations with Castro and Cuba. While Mongosse was going on, there were many other operations run out of JMWave that were not Mongosse. Johnny Roselli was not part of Mongoose. It is so important to understand these subtleties when studying the CIA. I am working on a detailed article on Mongosse to explain more. It will be published shortly. The CIA's own Inspector General report PROVES they did not approve of assassinations!
